Alice Main spent thirteen years as a local television news executive producer, producer or assignment editor. Her newsroom stops included (in chronological order) KJRH-Tulsa, KTUL-Tulsa, WDSU-New Orleans, WKRC-Cincinnati, and WLS-Chicago. In September, 2000, she quit television news in order to spend more time doing mom stuff and some Web design from home. She lives with her husband Frank Main (crime reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times) and two sons (ages 6 & 8) in a western suburb of Chicago.
Robert Stewart is professor of journalism at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, where he has been teaching broadcast journalism since 1987. He has a Ph.D. and an MA in communications from the University of Washington and a BA in communications from Hunter College. He is co-author of CNN: Making News in the Global Market (1997), and began his webmaster duties for the Producer Page in 1995. |
