      Course Objectives:

      • To learn everything possible about Journalism on the Web in 10 weeks
      • To create Web-based publications

      Attendance Policy:

      • As with any hands-on course, participants' presence is a must. The instructor reserves the right to lower a student's final grade if s/he does not regularly attend class sessions.
      • Because the class only meets for two days, showing up on time is required.

      Grading:

      • 5% project #1
      • 10% project #2
      • 15% project #3
      • 25% project #4
      • 20% project #5
      • 25% attendance
      NOTE: The grade for each project is based on content, writing and design.

      Academic Integrity:

      Academic misconduct is a Code A violation of the Ohio University Code of Student Conduct. If the professor finds that a student has used others' work as if it were his or her own, s/he may be referred to the director of judiciaries, and may receive an F for that assignment and for the course.
